A weekly 9 am Studio Circuit (4 persons max) using the traditional Pilates apparatus (trapeze table, reformer, ladder barrel, chair and spine corrector) starts Thursday 5th of March. Enjoy a rich repertoire of exercises and feel the support the machine can give you as well as, in some instances, the added challenge. The class is suitable for all levels of fitness.

The first 6 week block of classes at the Eric Liddell Centre, Bruntsfield is coming to an end. I love the friendly relaxed atmosphere that was so easy to build with everyone being so nice, always smiling and up for a laugh. I am also impressed with the determination and huge improvements I have witnessed over these past 6 weeks.
As the new 6 week block is fast approaching make sure you book in soon as we are wanting to keep groups fairly small. The following classes will be available from Tuesday 3rd of March:
9:00am - Remedial Pilates - £60 per 6 Week Block/ £12 per Drop In
This class is a gentle Pilates class for those willing to engage both body and mind to explore movement and the subtle changes that occur in the body when we move or resist gravity. It is an ideal class for those who are recovering from injury, suffer chronic muscular pain or some health conditions, You may also enjoy the class if you like a slow paced, gentle Pilates workout or seek relaxation. It also complements massage treatments.
10:00am - Freestyle Fitness Yoga (Gentle/45min) - £51 per 6 Week Block/ £10 per Drop In
This is a bit of a hybrid class between the evening Freestyle Fitness Yoga and the Remedial Pilates. It is designed for those who have approached me, seeking a more yoga based class but found the level of the evening class too challenging. This class involves gentle, short sun salutation based sequences, gentle core exercises and stretches. Exercises are dynamic and flow to music but there will also be more emphasis on correct technique, therefore a slower pace and a generally lower level of intensity.
6:30pm - Remedial Pilates - £60 per 6 Week Block/ £12 per Drop In
Same as the 9:00am class.
7:30pm - Freestyle Fitness Yoga - £51 per 6 Week Block/ £10 per Drop In
A led, dynamic yoga based workout challenging strength, flexibility, coordination and balance all at once. The first half is a sequence of sun salutations, warrior poses and balance. In the second half we take things a little easier and relax, mixing core exercises with stretches. While this is a highly yoga inspired work out (most similar to ashtanga and body balance it is not a Yoga Method and has no spiritual elements.. Come along, find your inner warrior and most importantly have a laugh!
All class participants can benefit from a 10% discount on Massage (Sports/Remedial/Hot Stones/Taping).
Please note that I can not provide mats and advise you to bring your own mat to class. If you do not own one you can purchase one through me.
